Tactile: Activities that involve touch or oral choices. Light touch is usually not organizing. Tactile exploration should be coupled with deep pressure activities.

• Playing in a sand box
• Exploring various tactile media: birdseed, rice, beans, sand, shaving cream
• Hunting for items hidden in tactile media
• Identifying items by touch alone
• Finger painting
• Cooking
